Back The "Adept Business Game" introduces young people to a thoughtful way of handling money. It was developed by Roman Dengler, Berlin, for ADEPT e.V. After initial pilot tests in 2022, a three-day train-the-trainer with 32 teachers took place in July 2023. Afterwards, the teachers were able to carry out the business game themselves at their secondary schools. The game will be further tested and optimized in 2024 - 2026 until nothing stands in the way of further distribution in Uganda.
While the young people seem a little unsure at the beginning, by round two at the latest everyone is enthusiastic. How annoying - all the pigs in the "Berlin" group died of African swine fever - should you now take out a loan? And how exactly does repayment of a loan actually work? The "Manila" group, on the other hand, is quite confident because the last harvest was above average and they made a profit. Should they invest or save money?
